Ocean and Reef Diving

Scuba dive in the majestic, warm, aqua green waters of the Caribbean on a professionally guided dive of the world’s second largest reef system, the Palancar Reef, while on your Caribbean dive vacation. The Palancar reef stretches across the bay of Tankah Tres, just a short five minute boat ride away from our dive center. Drop into the crystal clear Caribbean waters and descend upon an expansive field of hard and soft coral formations. Scuba dive with a wide variety of tropical fish, huge barrel sponges, mountains of star coral, gorgonians and much more while comfortably suspended in warm Caribbean waters.

While on your Caribbean dive adventure vacation, experience the dive site Mountains of the Moon. This wonderful Caribbean site is only 30 to 40 feet deep and contains breath taking mounds of hard star coral that rise 25 feet from the ocean floor. This slow, relaxing, shallow drift dive offers plenty of bottom time and covers nearly three quarters of a mile.

Lucky Fish Dive Center offers more then 10 miles of continuous reef dive sites at depths of 30, 60 and 90 feet. Scuba dive through the Gorgonian Gardens at 60 feet or have a look at the Canyons and Mini Wall at 90 feet. Whichever dives you choose, be prepared to fall in love with Mexico and the magic of the Caribbean.

Discover Scuba Diving

The Discover Scuba Diving experience begins with introductory dive instruction on safe diving practices. Your PADI dive instructor will teach you about diving fundamentals and equipment in the comfort of our dive center. This is followed by a safe shallow-water dive to practice skills while under direct supervision of your experienced instructor. After you have mastered a couple of practical skills, your instructor will lead you on a spectacular Caribbean reef dive.

Lucky Fish Dive Center will only entrust your safety and learning to a fully qualified and experienced Open Water Instructor. We do not allow our Divemaster to teach Discover Scuba Diving. This is our policy to ensure safe and comfortable diving experiences with the most qualified and safety conscious staff available.
